This year we are excited to be working with Luke Lowder, a local Carolina screenwriter and director on The Grand Strand, a coming of age story based in the Carolinas. Shooting will take place May 28 - July 7. This is a workforce building project between Local Cinema Studios and The South Carolina Film Commission.
We are looking to fill a variety of roles on set with crew of varying experience levels. These are paid non-union positions. Key roles will be filled by industry professionals with a passion for mentorship (is that you? apply now!). Additional roles will be filled with students and recent graduates who are interested in bringing their passion and willingness to learn to gain experience on a professional filmset (is that you? apply now!). Each role will be provided a stipend based on experience.
